We love to read! But there is a reason we love to read Christian fiction. When we sat down to plan MRRR, we knew we wanted it to be more than just a readers retreat. We wanted to focus on why we read what we do and why these authors write what they do. I (Mandy) knew I wanted a tagline and I just happen to love alliteration! So when we were brainstorming and “where faith and fiction flow” came about, we knew it was just right! It ties in the connection to why it is so important to combine faith and fiction and we also love the connection to the river (since we are on the banks of the Mississippi River here in Little Falls, MN).
We look forward to sharing more about our theme with you in the coming months. We hope you will recognize where faith and fiction flow in our retreat, our authors, and in their wonderful stories
